Biography

Orema J. Roark, AKA "O", very strongly believes in practicing "The Golden Rule" in every aspect of one’s life. O's many accomplishments included successful careers in Banking, Senior Computer Sales Representative, Finance (Making a difference in financial Futures), Real Estate Broker, a trainer with SPAA (Speakers, Publishers, Authors and Association)and recently received the accreditation of "CP", Certified Professional Speaker) and a Mary Kay Senior Sale Director. In addition, O was a model, Jet centerfold, a weekly Co-Host of "The Jim Heard Happening" radio show, Fashion Commentator, Play Narrator, held leadership roles in community and political volunteering.
With all that said, O made the time to attended evening and weekend classes at DePaul University to receive her degree. As an extension of her accomplishments, O was married to a great guy for 17 years (divorced in 1981-not since remarried). O has 1 daughter-Marla, who was a successful model and 1 granddaughter-Ericka, who was a child model and was "Miss Teen Chicago, as well as, National Miss Teen 1st Runner-up. She will attend Clark Atlanta in Aug. 2013. Opportunities present themselves in many ways. O was given legal custody and raised her youngest sister, Mary, who is an US Army Career Soldier.
To live life to its fullest, one must continue to GROW! I want my Legacy to read, "She always gave her best".
