Biography

I spent over 35 years in the classroom mainly in Adult Education in the fields of English, History and English as a Second Language. I have lived and taught in Taiwan and Germany as well as in the US.
Since 1978 my home has been in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I currently keep up an active meditation practice and enjoy hiking and back-packing in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.
I have retired from teaching, but continue working with the University of Michigan Special Collections Library.
