Hallo David - I think I saw you last in summer of 1968, when I was graduated from college but staying around Portland with girlfriend and motorcycle. I have a vague memory of you going to Russia, getting some use from our 4 years of study at HPHS (?). (new paragraph) I am still in Portland OR, working as a signpainter and Venerable Elder to new letterers. Two kids, in Boston and Brooklyn. When I visit I feel like the Country Mouse -"ooh, look at all those people! look at that tall building! ohh, a bigger building..." but real cities certainly are stimulating, especially for young people. If you are in DC I would assume you are in govt or NGO? Ah, a quick Google search and I find: David Satter, journalist, barred from Russia (1/1/14) and an engaging photo. Congratulations, if that be you. 'Journalist' is almost as antique a term as 'signpainter', but people keep reading news and using signs, so I guess it is all about adapting to the new ways. cheers, lee littlewood
Hello David Satter. I remember you well. I'm in Chicago, divorced, 2 kids, 2 granddaughters. I also remember your brother Paul The Class of 1965 is having a reunion in October. All the best. Eve Evans Earles
I will be in DC next month for a board meeting. I'm usually there in July and January (if the terrible weather doesn't shut down the airport). Definitely stay in touch. Where is your brother? He was in my class I think and you were one year ahead. So long ago. Eve
