Biography

History major in college. Started MBA program at U of C but dropped out to enlist in the Navy. Two tours in Vietnam, 1970-1972, naval officer aboard USS Midway.

Met future wife on a blind date while stationed in Long Beach, CA. Remained in Southern California after discharge from military. Married 1973. Self employed architect 1980=2001. Still working, plan to retire in about five years.
