1st Residence, Shot 1

This is a northerly view out of our residence in Dolphin Heads when we first arrived in Australia. We lived in the recreation centre for a former resort, which was privatised. A new resort is seen beyond the white fence to the left, and our swimming pool straight ahead and to the right. Beyond that is the Coral Sea, that portion of the Pacific Ocean coastward behind the Great Barrier Reef.

We had all glass walls, first and second floors, and had to keep the drapes drawn most of the time.

We moved to the Padaminka Nature Refuge in about 2006, which was the setting in another photo.
